Low Carb Crockpot Chili

This is a good recipe for dinner or whenever you want, you can make the amount you prefer and it is delicious. You have the option of mixing ground beef and ground pork, that would be great.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork (or more beef)
  • 1 14-ounce can pureed tomatoes
  • 1 14-ounce can diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne

METHOD

1-Put the ground beef and pork loin in a pan over medium heat, then brown the meat until it is well cooked. You should then transfer it to the slow cooker.

2-Add the tomatoes, onion, garlic and chili powder to the pot. Also add the cumin, salt, pepper and cayenne. Stir well to mix.

3-Cook for six hours over low heat and season to taste with additional salt and pepper. Serve with favorite garnishes.
